Swimsuit Dress

For those who are not so confident with wearing skin-bearing beach wear like me, then I guess this swimsuit dress is perfect for you. Even though I'm slim/skinny I still don't feel comfortable showing my body or more skin than the usual. Bikinis are just too revealing (like lingerie) for me to be worn outside lol so weirddd. Mahiyain and may pagka-conservative po kasi ako di lang halata. Hehe. But this swimsuit is love. It also doubles as a dress when you're at the beach so no need for cover-ups!

Oriental Bloom

Here's my 2nd outfit in Bohol! Refrained from pairing this mullet skirt with a body-hugging top and paired it with a loose and flow-y blouse instead. I figured, with a top like this, the whole look will appear more laid-back---perfect for summer and for doing touristy things all daaay! I think I look like a modern oriental princess here actually, hence the title. Leave it to this skirt to make you feel like one with its trail billowing behind you when you walk! As for these shoes, well they're inspired by the Viviene WestwoodxMelissa collab. I think they're a nice alternative to your beach flipflops (see my previous post for jelly flats). So what do you think of this look? I hope you like it! :)

Print Clash

Spent a few days in Caramoan during the Holy Week before we headed to our hometown in Buhi, CamSur. Let me tell you about the beaches and islands in Caramoan. They were absolutely gorge. The sands were so fine and almost white. The sea was pristinely clean and didn't smell very salty/fishy. The numerous mini islands each had something different to offer and there were hardly any people and resorts built in these beaches so you can really enjoy the purity of the place. So for this beach trip, I wore clashing prints that surprisingly went well together. Since it was finally summer, I thought I'd go all out in prints and colors in celebration of the season! What do you think?

Short and Sweet

Hello from Caramoan! How's your Holy Week so far? I'm having an awesome time at the moment 'coz we just came from beach! However, I'm not too thrilled of my sunburned skin as I'm really not a beach babe. Haha! What I do love about the experience though was we got to transfer from one virgin island to another! I really recommend that you visit our province, CamSur. Of course I'm slightly biased but I'm quite proud that Bicol is finally "making waves" *wink* as a tourist destination.

On to my outfit post! This was just a simple get-up put together last minute when my mom, sister and I watched The Hunger Games. Normally I'd ramble about my opinion on a movie that I really love but I'd like to keep this post short and sweet for now. Anyway...where was I? Oh yeah, about the outfit! I was feeling icky to wear something body-hugging and was extra lazy to doll up that day that I just wore this. I know it may look like it's bordering on "manang" but I just absolutely adore midi skirts! I hope you like it still! :)

Nightlock

For some strange reason I named this post "Nightlock" after the poisonous berries in The Hunger Games. I guess, it has something to do with this deep violet wall. And now that I think about it, my outfit here can be compared to said berries for it was a little too daring for my taste as well. But since I am in no way blessed with lovely womanly curves, it wasn't too skimpy-looking on me. I guess being skinny has its perks too. Lol.

Anyway, this was my outfit two Saturdays ago. My supermodel friend Camille was one of the organizers for this event so we were kind of obliged to come. Haha! I decided to wear this lace-y number because it always gets humid in clubs. Now, I wouldn't leave the house looking like a baby prostitue, would I? (Mean Girls reference yo!) So I grabbed this long silky blazer from my mom and voila! I'm exposed and covered up all at the same time! :)
