I just had to post at least one look donning a sweater for the holidays. It might not be as noticeably chilly now than the past couple of years but there's something about a snug wool-y pullover that just completes the yuletide season. They didn't call it sweater weather for no reason, right?

Daytime Sparkle

Ah, I couldn't wait for December breeze to come by anymore so I wore my first holiday inspired outfit for this year to a date to the movies instead! What, you guys can't blame me! *laughs* Anyway, I was trying to channel a Serena van der Woodsen vibe with this outfit. What do you guys think? :)

Polka Dot It!

How'd your Christmas go? Me, I had an "okay" Christmas. It wasn't as fun as last year's but I didn't mind as long as I got to spend it with my family and celebrate Jesus' birthday. It was "okay" because only me and my yaya stayed up late 'til midnight to wait for Christmas eve 'coz everybody else went to sleep early. KJ much. Haha! There was no Noche Buena for us this time 'coz my mom fell ill and we were very few in numbers this year so Ate and Mama felt like there was no need to prepare a grand feast. I still think it was sad. Haha! So that night, I just spent it eating my homemade refrigerated cake (miserably) while watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on HBO with my yaya. Haha! We did celebrate in the morning and the afternoon so at least I got to eat something new and scrumptious apart from the blah food that I normally eat on ordinary days. Hahaha!

I'm excited for New Year though. My fave cousin is going to spend the rest of her Xmas vacay here so yay for that! My big sister better unleash the "good cook" in her and whip up some delish dishes this New year celeb for the Media Noche or else...there'll be chaos in the kitchen 'coz of me trying to cook something and destroy the kitchen in the process. She wouldn't like that now, would she? Bwahaha!

PS. Have you noticed my new hair color? A bit reddish for me, though it was supposed to be a light golden brown shade. Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait for it to fade a little. :)

Been awhile...

Long time no...er, blog? Haha! Sorry for the lack of blog updates, I've been making the most out of my vacay by constantly going out with my different barkadas thus leaving me tired (or maybe just too lazy) to blog about things. Anyway, this outfit post with my BFF Mel had been taken a few weeks back. She spent the night here at home after a night out with the rest of my HS gang and then shot these photos in the afternoon.
So...here are the reasons for my being AWOL in the blogosphere (not that you guys asked for it but please let me share haha):
Went to support and watch my good friend Ara's play at ADMU. Dinner at Eastwood right after, then cocktails at Cantina in Katipunan. Sleepover at my house after that and then took the outfit shots (with my BFF) the morning after.
Angelique's Japanese-themed debut on Dec. 19, 2010. I went as a schoolgirl wearing my 'lil niece's preschool uniform. Haha! Altered the waistband a bit so that it would allow me to breathe and EAT, it was a debut after all. Epic night, though if I'm being perfectly honest, it was the longest and most agonizing debut I ever went to (not because her party was a disaster or anything. Just saw someone there who made me sad, anxious and mad all at the same time.) Haha! But I am so glad/grateful for this night 'coz it closed a chapter of my life that I am now willing to leave behind. :)

Reunion with my grade school BFF Rachelle (she moved to the UK with her family)! 5 years was too long and we've missed her terribly! So glad she's spending Christmas and New year here in the Phil! :)
