Nothing too special with this post really. Just a simple outfit for school and photos of my new home in Taft, my dorm. School has already started for me and though I live far away from my home in QC, I feel at ease living on my own. There's just something so liberating about it especially since I've been so sheltered and living under my mom's skirt for the longest time. Although I must say, it's so hard to prepare my own meal since cooking's definitely not up my alley! Haha!

Jolts Of Color

A late Happy Mothers' Day greeting from me to you and your mothers! These are just some of the photos that I took when we celebrated Mom's Day and the despidida dinner for my brother's family at Vikings! It was a bittersweet moment for all of us as we cherished the food and the time that we still had left with my sis-in-law and dearest niece, Sofia. We ate for about 5 hours (since it was a buffet meal harhar) so it was really an unforgettable dining experience too.

As for my outfit, I was feeling nostalgic of my HS days so I whipped out my chucks and wore 'em out again! Instead of wearing them with the usual street/casual get-up, I paired 'em with a dressier/girlier ensemble hence the mullet skirt. Injected jolts of color here and there with the help of my neon yellow necklace and cobalt blue bag. Hope you like it! :)

Fluffy Feline

Nung pinost ko sa facebook 'tong mga pictures na 'to ang daming nag-like! Akala siguro nila isa ako sa mga main characters pero nag-extra lang naman po ako sa isang music video. Pero salamat na din po sa suporta. :) Try ko lang mag-blog in Filipino para maiba naman. Medyo iba kasi ang trip ko ngayong gabi kaya sana mapagbigyan niyo ako. Hehe. Buti nalang pumayag ako sa kahilingan ng kaibigan kong si Maha na sumama sa shoot na ito. Kakaibang karanasan na hindi ko malilimutan talaga. Masaya ako na nakakilala din ako ng ibang tao na labas sa "circle of friends" ko ika nga. :)


English translation: These set of photos got so many "likes" when I posted 'em on Facebook. My friends must've thought that I was one of the main characters when in fact I was just one of the extras in this music video. Just trying to blog in my native tongue which is Filipino just to shake things up a bit. Hihi. I'm glad that I accepted my friend's request to be a part of this video. It was a very thrilling experience that was surely one for the books! It's also nice that I got to meet new people who were outside my usual circle of friends. :)

Call Us, Maybe?

My co-blogger friend Nicole and I were bored one afternoon. We had a macbook and lots of time so what did we do? We went crazy making a parody video of Carly Rae Jepsen's MV, Call Me Maybe. Please don't hate. We were just having fun. Hihi. Here you get to see us makulit and wapoise. Hahaha!

Check Up

Who would've known that the UST clinic hallway would make for a nice background for one of my outfit posts? Wore this simple get-up when I had my check-up 2 weeks ago. The stark white glass panels and sleek silver metal chairs just beckoned me to take photos. It turned out good if I may say so myself. The outfit definitely popped out from the snowy white background. Took very few photos 'coz people were actually sitting and staring on the side while my mom and I took these. Oh the things I'd do for this blog. :))


Real-time update: I just came from the airport to say goodbye to my dear niece and sis-in-law. I miss them already, it hurts. I wish I could fly to Canada right now instead of just skyping and waiting 5 years to see them in person.

Summer Prints

I am all about combining clashing prints this summer if you haven't noticed yet. This time I chose to pair floral with snakeskin. Kept everything else simple and classy with sleek gold accessories to balance out this already busy outfit. Wore this on the day we were supposed to watch The Avengers but wasn't able to 'coz every cinema was full. So we decided to re-sched and just eat out that day.

Pink Punk

I've always wanted one of those ripped and shredded tops but I couldn't find one before. Now though there is an abundance of it in stores like Forever 21. Whyyy only now? Anyway, I shredded this shirt on my own and I'm quite happy with it. The text on the shirt's perfect for me as well as it says, "Adik sa Shopping" (Addicted to Shopping/Shopping Addict). Pak! Couldn't agree more. Haha! Decided to break the monotony by incorporating neon colors into this otherwise all-black ensemble. Neon bodycon skirt and neon dogtags. Like it? I hope so! :)
