An outfit thrown on last minute. Mix and match of what I have in my very limited "dorm-wardrobe". Lately, I've been finding it hard to pick which clothes to bring to my dorm and which to leave untouched at my home in QC. Every sunday afternoon before I leave for the dorm, I grab almost every piece of clothing in my closet because I can't/don't plan my outfits for school ahead of time. So I figured, just get as much clothes as possible and wish that they'd all pair up well together. Come Saturday, when I arrive home in QC, I pick out clothes for a random day or night out with friends and I stare blankly at my almost empty closet. Sometimes, when I'm having a senior moment, I'd anxiously run around the house looking for this and that, then I'd remember that it's at the dorm. Sometimes I wish I could just buy an entire wardrobe of clothes for my home in Taft. That'd be pretty convenient albeit a lil extravagant. Hehe.

Home Away From Home

Nothing too special with this post really. Just a simple outfit for school and photos of my new home in Taft, my dorm. School has already started for me and though I live far away from my home in QC, I feel at ease living on my own. There's just something so liberating about it especially since I've been so sheltered and living under my mom's skirt for the longest time. Although I must say, it's so hard to prepare my own meal since cooking's definitely not up my alley! Haha!

Jolts Of Color

A late Happy Mothers' Day greeting from me to you and your mothers! These are just some of the photos that I took when we celebrated Mom's Day and the despidida dinner for my brother's family at Vikings! It was a bittersweet moment for all of us as we cherished the food and the time that we still had left with my sis-in-law and dearest niece, Sofia. We ate for about 5 hours (since it was a buffet meal harhar) so it was really an unforgettable dining experience too.

As for my outfit, I was feeling nostalgic of my HS days so I whipped out my chucks and wore 'em out again! Instead of wearing them with the usual street/casual get-up, I paired 'em with a dressier/girlier ensemble hence the mullet skirt. Injected jolts of color here and there with the help of my neon yellow necklace and cobalt blue bag. Hope you like it! :)

Now this one's just right. See how you can tell that my lipstick color is light orange and not really nude? Yep. All because of the lighting. Tyra Banks was right when she told her ANTM girls to "FIND THE LIGHT". Haha!

Summer is indeed in its full swing here in Manila, so much so that I can really feel the heat and the sun's rays prickling my skin whenever I go out which makes me more determined to stay in and do nothing that will make me work up a sweat! This week I managed to chug down 5 bottles of Coke (the big ones) and yes, I am perfectly aware that it's bad for my health but what can I do? The girl's thirsty. I hope I still have the drive to dress-up under this intense heat though. Okay okay enough with the complainin' (see I'm no beach babe and summer lover, I worship THE RAIN and THE COLD). I hate heat and the sun so much that I stayed at home all week long when the whole family went to Boracay last week (see, mi brotha just came home from Canada)! So where could a girl like me enjoy a nice swim? At a nice secluded falls or private pool maybe. But never when it's sunny. Night swimming, everyone?

On a slightly different note (imagine my voice getting an octave higher as I proceed to tell you to...), please grab a copy of the May 2011 issue of meg Magazine! En and I are featured on their Stylestalker section for this month! I am still so shaken from seeing myself on a magazine! I used to dream (well, I still do) of being the girl whose face was plastered on a glossy!!! SO FREAKIN' STOKED MAAAAAN LIKE ASDFGHJKL!!!
