Washed Out

We've reached the last set of my outfit posts in Macau/HK. Just a few photos to share with y'all today 'coz I was feeling really ill when these shots were taken. I wasn't even wearing a dash of make-up here and now I'm kinda regretting it 'coz I look totally pale and in pain. Haha! Although I was ecstatic that I was in another country, by the time these photos were taken I was yearning desperately to go back home to the Philippines just so I can finally drink my medicine. Lol. So yeah, thank you for sticking around. I am always grateful. :)

P.S. 2nd Blogversary giveaway coming right up!!!

Nihao Macau!

I've always wanted my own snowglobe. I don't know why it took me that long to buy one.
This one's perfect though. Look, it has my face inside! Haha!
The only food that I can eat there w/o getting umay.
 Welcome to Old Macau!
 Jade jewelry. Very Chinese, yes?
There weren't many cars in Macau.
 Nosebleed. Haha!
The only egg tarts that I'll ever eat. Nyaaam!
Porkchop bun. Complete with the bone in it. Hee.

Here are just some of the photos that I took on our trip to the City of Dreams where we watched the Dragon Treasure show in a dome-shaped screen up above the ceiling in Crown Hotel and Old Macau which tremendously reminded me of Binondo. This is what I love about traveling. Of course, the change of scene is always pleasant but what I love most about it is the opportunity to take in a different culture and try to live it even just for a while. :)

The Venetian

On our arrival and first night in Macau, there was heavy fog covering the entire place which made it hard for us to see the beautiful scenery. It was like walking in a void and being engulfed in darkness and smoke which totally sucked 'coz we really wanted to see the twinkling buildings at night. But when we got inside The Venetian, I was awed by everything that my eyes laid upon. Those towering European-inspired buildings were actually just walls that surrounded the eating and shopping area. This was the foodcourt. And that beautiful bright cloudy sky was just a painted ceiling. Outside of the hotel, it was actually nighttime. Oh god everything was sooo beautiful! So yeah, it was a bit hard concentrating on eating dinner because my eyes were roaming around relentlessly. Haha!

PS. I hope you don't mind if I post photos other than my outfit shots. I mean, I'm not a professional photog but I do enjoy the art of photography and looking at pretty/interesting pictures. :)
