Creepy Beautiful

As I've already mentioned on my previous posts, the girls and I had a sleepover at my place last Friday and these photos were the result of our "time" together.

Since I am currently inspired by Black Swan, I added a touch of "darkness" in the way I edited these photos. I like them beautiful-yet-sort-of-creepy, oh yes I do.

Wear Your Tights Day!

Funny how we all wore tights that day. We didn't even plan to match outfits. Haha!

My outfit for that day was inspired by Rachel Berry (Lea Michele). While sorting through my closet the night before, Rachel's preppy outfits kept flashing in my mind. Then I remembered how she described her look to Brittany (Heather Morris), she said it was "Sexy Schoolgirl Librarian Chic". And since I was feeling all schoolgirl-y that night/day, I came up with this (though one blockmate told me I looked like I was going to church). Haha!

These photos were taken on Friday when we met up with Rachelle at Trinoma. After the girl session we had at the mall, REJ and ERJ still didn't go home and instead spent the night and the following morning at my house. These girls just couldn't get enough of me, noh? Hahaha!

*Sighs* I'm so glad I'm done with my midterm papers in two of my majors. My birthday week was definitely rough on me. On my 19th I didn't get any sleep at all due to a paper I was finishing, because of the lack of sleep, I had a meltdown in the bathroom while taking a shower resulting to really puffy eyes, and I almost got run over by a car on my way home from school on my birthday! Most inauspicious I tell you. Also heartbroken 'coz I didn't get the chance to watch T. Sweezy's concert. I'm just glad it's over. :/ Haha!

Hectic Fridays

Here's an outfit post and a photodiary for last last Friday. Wore this to school (and to a few other places) but I wore sheer tights underneath 'coz there's a dresscode policy in school. Anddd...I'm back to my red lippies! Yeahzzz! I missed it!:))

I only had my PUBLISH class that day and here's what went on in that class.

Blech. Using Indesign, we did a layout of our "own" business magazine. (I wish we did a fashion mag instead, that would've made it easier and much more exciting for me. Haha!) My blockmates were all so good at it that my work looked blah and fuggly next to theirs. :/

After my class, I went to meet Rachelle in Trinoma, so that we could both go watch and support our dear friend Camille for the Ms. UST 2011 pageant. There we yelled our lungs out and woot-ed like crazy! All our efforts paid off 'coz she won 2nd runner up! *sniffs* Proud childhood friend (kababata) right here. :">

The pageant ended at around 11:30 pm so the girls spent the night and the following day (which was a Saturday) at my place. I'm telling you, having sleepovers twice in two weeks at my house really exhausted me. I'd rather have sleepovers at another friend's house, I mean, where's the fun in sleeping in your own room? (And you call that a sleepover? Haha!)

The following day, we toured Rachelle at Rn'B 'coz the last time she went there was when we were still in grade 6. (See, she just got back from the UK, so as her grade school BFFs we felt responsible to show her around the place again). But I'm not complaining, I missed her to bits! Plus I really enjoyed it when she would slip and use a British accent. We wait for it all the time. Haha!
Le sigh two Fridays in a row now that I have been constantly out with the friends and holding sleepovers at my place. Girls, next time...please let me enjoy sleeping at your homes for a change naman ha? :)))

Blast From The Past

Tomorrow, I will submit my midterm paper for INSERCH. Oh and yeah, it's my 19th birthday too. How nice, my birthday week is also midterms week in school. Blech. Guess I'll have to pull another all-nighter tonight. Huhu. What about my beauty sleep? Haha!

It's actually the first time that I'm dreading having to add another year to my age. I dunno, I think it's 'coz I'm afraid I haven't accomplished much in the last years or maybe I'm just being too hard on myself and I don't see the things that I have already achieved. Well, whatever. All this birthday stuff had me reminiscing about last year's celebration. My 18th was definitely something I would never forget mainly 'coz it made me see how much I'm loved by my family, relatives and friends. That night I was extremely grateful to God for gifting me with another birthday and for everything that he's given me, my friends who live in the South 'coz I know it was definitely a looong drive to QC but they still came anyway, my high school and CTAC friends who surprised me by showing up when they said they couldn't make it, my grade school friends that have stayed in my life even after my life in GSCS, my blockmates who made transitioning from high school to college easy and bearable for me and my family for loving me so beautifully and unconditionally I could cry. :">

I'll just have to remind myself how lucky I am for everything that I have in my life 'coz now that I think about it, worrying myself about getting old is so stupid and petty. I guess when we get too comfortable in life we tend to forget how blessed we are. Though I won't be getting enough sleep tonight, I'm so thankful for tomorrow. :)
