Little Black Dress to Long Black Dress (LBD-LBD)

It's been a week since my last post but finally I bring you an outfit post today! :)

I've been seeing a lot of maxi skirts on chictopia and the blogosphere and I like how these long skirts (somehow) remind me of the 90's that I decided to try this "long-skirt-trend" myself! Hee. However, I do not own any maxi skirts--yet--so I just improvised using my mom's LBD.

ET VOILA!

The
Little Black Dress turned into the Long Black Dress (LBD to LBD)! Instant long dress! HAHA!

Worn as a Little Black Dress.

And now, worn as a Long Black Dress. Haha!

And here's when the "styling" confusion started. I didn't know which make-up went well with the whole look! In the first few photos, my hair was down and I had on the smokey-eye make-up with the pale pink lips and in the next shots, I had on a fresh face, ruby red lips and my hair was up! So...which of the two "looks" do you guys prefer more for this outfit? Haha! Sorry, I'm a perfectionist like that. :))

In the end though, I went for the fresh face and ruby red lips. (Well that's because I was too tired to re-apply my make-up after washing my face!) Haha!

So far, school has been kind to me and I've been seeing more of my college BFF Anna, this term since we have the same break time. I don't feel that much lonely anymore unlike last term when I only had Meli by my side. Not that I didn't enjoy being with her. It's just that I missed my college BFF, that's all. Also, this term proves to be exciting since I'm already having my photography classes at the uni! I am indeed very excited. :)

Oh and before I leave, wanna say hello to my new followers! Thanks so much for reading and appreciating my blog! It means so much to me. :')

'Til the next post!

Gossipgirl Baby

Howdy everyone! Here are some photos from our little pseudo-photoshoot this afternoon. En was supposed to conduct a shoot for her portfolio but our good friend/model Camille was MIA. We had another Gossipgirl-inspired shoot wherein En played Blair while I took on the role of Little J (very apt since you know I like rocker chic outfits and my real name starts with the letter J). Haha!
Played stylista again and lent my gold head band, pink clutch and brown skirt which you can see here to En. :)

SPOTTED: Queen B munching on a greasy burger and a bag of fries by her side. Looks like Queen B loves her fast-food more than her gourmet cooked food. (But we love McDO! haha!)
En and I were curling our hair when we decided we wanted to have this GG shoot. Too bad Camille was still at school that's why there's no Serena here. Not smiling in most of the photos because I was trying to channel my inner 'Lil J by frowning and keeping a straight face. I swear I wanted to smile and laugh so hard while shooting this. :))

That's about it! I got a lot more overdue posts but it'll have to wait 'coz my camera's not here. I grabbed these pictures from En's facebook account 'coz my big sis borrowed my cam and brought it to Bicol. I miss my camera. *sobs*

xoxo,

Playing Stylista

Phooey. Finally back to blogging but alas, I don't bring you an outfit post. I've been "Looklet-ing" for two days straight now because I've been too lazy to take outfit shots of myself and I really want to go shopping but I'm broke at the moment so this is the next best thing to shopping. Well not really. Haha!

How I wish I was wearing these:

I'm 18 already but I can't seem to outgrow playing paperdolls, (I have an almost similar post about playing paper dolls and if you're interested in reading it, CLICK HERE) well in this case online dress-up games. Haha! I dunno, ever since I was a child, I've always had a great fascination for paper dolls mostly because of the clothes. I guess seeing the pretty "paper clothes" was one of the many things which influenced my dream of becoming a fashion designer someday.

Here are some of my past styling creations in my Looklet account. :) Oh bummer, school already ended my very short term break.

Outfit post'll be up on the blog tomorrow! :)

Much Love,

That's The Way It Is

Late post, mi dearies! Oh well. Better late than never right? RIGHT. After going out with En and Cams (refer to the pageant post) last last Saturday, went out with the high school friends the next day. Whew! Anyhoo, here's an outfit post last last Sunday. A very casual outfit yes, but fashion is not always and not necessarily has to be trendy and over the top. It's how fashion can make you feel while wearing your outfit even in a simple top and jeans. Such was the case here, I chose to wear a simple grey top and paired it with my trusty jeans and yet I felt very pretty and confident in it. And that, I think is the very essence of Fashion. :)

Waited for two-freakin'-hours for the girls to arrive at Mcdo Katipunan. My cellphone battery died on me at the time so I couldn't flood them with messages telling them that I was rotting in there already while waiting for them. Haha! Told them to come at around 2pm and well, they came at 4 but they were easily forgiven (lucky biatches). Haha!

Me and my facial expressions.

After drinking coffee at McCafe (I felt like I was obliged to buy something there considering I waited in there for 2 hours), we decided to have early dinner at Flaming Wings Katips.

I really love this photo. I may look too poised in my outfit shots but trust me, I'm no girly girl (and have no poise at all) when I'm not conscious of the camera and when I talk and LAUGH. Haha!

On a whim, decided to head to Eastwood after eating. This never happened before until that day. We don't do spontaneous trips. With my HS friends, we always plan where we go and what we do (which in the end, whatever we decided on won't really happen). Haha!

Tiangges in Eastwood.

And that's how I spent my weekend last last week. Seriously, this term break is the best! I don't seem to run out of moolah even though I'm always out with my different barkadas (thanks mom for financing my dates with the girls!). I think I know why she's tolerating this. See, I rarely go out (except my shopping trips of course) and she's the one who keeps on insisting that I should spend my days outside the house and not be too much of a homebody. Haha! Oh mom. :))

'Til the next post!
